Early Childhood Development: Nurturing Foundations

At Bilal School, we prioritize the formative years of our students by implementing renowned Montessori teaching methods in our nursery section. This approach fosters an environment that champions independence, curiosity, and holistic growth for our youngest learners.

Nursery Curriculum: Our nursery program centers on cultivating independence and curiosity through engaging sensory activities, language development, and social interaction. By embracing child-led learning, we stimulate creativity, social skills, and a genuine passion for learning that lays a robust foundation for future academic and personal growth.

Primary and Secondary Education: Aligned with the Uganda National Curriculum, our primary education spans from Primary 1 to 7, culminating in the Primary Leaving Examination. In high school (Senior 1 to 4), students follow the Uganda Secondary Education curriculum, culminating in the UNEB O levels in October/November yearly.

O Level and Beyond: Our O level curriculum covers a diverse range of subjects, including English, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Cultural Studies, and Business Studies. Students have the flexibility to select 8 to 10 subjects for the Uganda Certificate of Secondary Education (UCE). This prepares them for the UCE examinations, akin to the British ‘O’ levels, setting the groundwork for further education.

Supporting Diverse Learning Needs: At Bilal School, inclusive education is a priority. We provide a Learning Support Centre that offers specialized assistance in English and mathematics, ensuring every student thrives within Uganda's National Curriculum.
